$130k โ $150k Base | Facilities Director | Not-for-Profit Organization | New York City
- Facilities leadership role across a diverse multi-building portfolio
- Strong involvement in renovations, capital planning, and long-term building improvements
- Work alongside an experienced union engineering team
- Opportunity to step into a Director title within a mission-driven organization
We see this suiting someone with a strong technical engineering background who wants broader ownership across facilities, projects, vendors, and long-term planning. This could be a strong next step for a Chief Engineer ready to move into facilities leadership, or an existing Facilities Manager/Director who wants a more varied environment than a traditional single office building.
The portfolio is operated by a long-established New York-based not-for-profit organization and includes a mix of office, operational, and support facilities across multiple buildings. The environment is technical, varied, and currently seeing continued investment across its buildings.
Day-to-day, the role will oversee facilities operations, preventative maintenance, vendor and contractor management, union engineering coordination, capital project support, renovations, compliance, and stakeholder communication across the business.
This is for someone who can stay close to the buildings technically, while also stepping back and helping shape how the facilities function is run in the long term.
