Setpoint Systems Corporation (SSC) is looking for an Engineering Assistant to provide critical administrative and technical support across our Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and Service teams.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our project documentation process, ensuring that our technical teams have exactly what they need to succeed in the field. Pay Range: $45K-$55K
The Mission
The Engineering Assistant ensures operational efficiency through precise document control, active communication, and strict adherence to company standards. You will manage the flow of technical information from the initial submittal to the final project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
  • Documentation Mastery: Assemble critical project documents, including submittal data, O&M manuals, and PVT documents.
  • Production Support: Create point/wire tags from bills of materials and engrave phenolic tags for our panel builds.
  • Queue Management: Maintain the Redline and Engineering Queues to ensure everyone knows the status of projects in progress or in the backlog.
  • Departmental Collaboration: Assist Project Managers with "PM books," help the Service team with TSA Log Books, and support Sales with proposal assembly.
  • Office Operations: Provide general administrative support, including telephone coverage and office maintenance.
  • Library Management: Maintain and develop our electronic cutsheet library and submittal standards.
