Job description

FEV is a global engineering consultancy providing services within the complete mobility space, including the passenger car and heavy-duty commercial industry. If you are interested in joining a team of experienced engineers developing advanced powertrain systems that leverage both conventional combustion engines and electrification to address future performance, fuel economy and emissions requirements, FEV is where you want to be.
We are looking for a motivated Engineering Assistant (Intern) to support the Operations team, working closely with test cell teams, engineering leads, and regulations-related teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Support Operations team activities related to test cell workflows and engine testing processes
  • Working with multiple teams leads to understanding current workflows and day-to-day procedures
  • Create internal process flow documents, procedure guides, checklists, and step-by-step work instructions
  • Organizing information gathered from engineers, technicians, and team leads to clear and easy-to-follow documentation
  • Help document test cell setup processes, readiness steps, handoff points, and operational procedures
  • Maintain consistency across internal guides, templates, forms, and process documents
  • Assist with improving how operational knowledge is captured, organized, and shared across teams
  • Support general coordination between Operations, test cell, engineering, and regulations-related teams

Requirements
  • Candidates pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of engines and vehicles
  • Strong attention to detail when creating procedure guides and process documentation
  • Create clear flowcharts and checklists
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools

Preferred:
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage information from multiple sources
  • Ability to work with engineers, technicians, team leaders, and operations staff
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and follow guidance from experienced team members
