Job Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Assistant to support engineering and manufacturing activities in a CNC machining environment. This position is a great opportunity for a CNC Programmer or manufacturing professional with CAD experience who wants to apply their technical skills in an engineering-focused role.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering and manufacturing projects from development through production.
  • Assist with CNC programming and program development.
  • Create, modify, and review CAD designs and manufacturing files.
  • Support CNC machining processes and provide programming assistance as needed.
  • Work with Engineering, Production, Quality, and other departments to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Assist with developing and improving machining processes.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Support the development and documentation of manufacturing processes.
  • Assist with troubleshooting CNC and machining-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate engineering and production documentation.
  • Perform other engineering and manufacturing support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, CNC Technology, or a related field.
  • Previous CNC programming experience required.
  • CAD experience required.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or NC programming required.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Understanding of CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with Engineering and Production teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
