Position Title: QM Testers – Connecticut Child Support Modernization

Position Summary

Seeking experienced UAT-focused Test Analysts (2) to support and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for a Child Support Modernization initiative. This role will work closely with Child Support program staff, vendors, and technical teams to ensure the solution meets business, operational, and federal requirements. The ideal candidate has prior hands-on experience supporting UAT for Child Support modernization implementations. This is not the same as Child Care or Child Welfare implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across Child Support modules
  • Work with Child Support program SMEs to develop UAT scenarios and test cases based on business processes
  • Execute UAT test cases, document results, and log defects
  • Support defect triage, retesting, and validation of fixes
  • Validate system functionality against Child Support policies, workflows, and federal requirements
  • Support UAT readiness activities, daily status updates, and test cycle closeout
  • Assist with UAT activities for statewide rollouts and post-go-live stabilization

Mandatory Requirements

  • Must have prior experience supporting UAT for Child Support Modernization implementations
  • Must possess strong Child Support program knowledge, including policies, workflows, and case management operations
  • Must comply with State policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Child Support program staff and business SMEs
  • Familiarity with federal OCSE requirements and reporting
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Xray, Jira, ALM, or similar)
  • Experience supporting large-scale, multi-vendor government system implementations
