Job description


Chase is seeking a highly motivated UAT Lead to play an active role in helping execute against our roadmap, by leading and coordinating User Acceptance Testing. In this role, you will work with cross-disciplinary teams including design, technology and product delivery teams on both our web and mobile-focused products.
As a UAT Automation Lead on the Payments Product team in Connected Commerce you will evolve as we respond to the growing needs of our customers. If you are an outside the box thinker, are passionate about testing execution and delivering impactful user experiences to our customers, this could be the position for you! You will be passionate about disciplined testing execution in an Agile framework, helping to deliver impactful user experiences to our customers.
Job responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and execution of user acceptance testing, working with process owners, technology, product managers, functional areas, and customer experience/design teams
  • Executing complex test strategies involving internal Chase applications, 3rd party vendor applications/microsites, as well as desktop and/or mobile applications
  • Partnering with Testing Leads across all phases of the testing lifecycle
  • Design, develop, and create manual test scripts
  • Test, validate, document, and evidence test results.
  • Manage and prioritize defects and see them out to resolution
  • Ensure the highest quality product is delivered to our customers
  • Support production releases which will require occasional weekend/evening support

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance or User Acceptance Testing role
  • Hands-on knowledge of Agile principles and Quality Assurance methodologies/best practices
  • Hands-on experience using JIRA for test execution tracking and defect lifecycle management (workflows, dashboards, traceability)
  • Experience in the design of detailed functional test plans, and the creation and execution of test cases
  • Proficiency with UDF and Cucumber, including creating/maintaining automated test scenarios and interpreting results to drive triage and sign-off decisions
  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to multi-task & handle multiple test assignments & prioritize one's own work
  • Written and verbal communication skills - able to present status, facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise, convincing and organized manner
  • Flexibility and adaptability - able to quickly and smoothly change direction based upon stakeholder or management direction, while remaining extremely organized and following tight deadlines

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Hands-on experience conducting Online and Mobile testing using devices and simulators like SeeTest
  • Passion for online & mobile technology and knowledge of industry structure, trends and influential companies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field of study, or equivalent relevant experience
