Airmid Wellness & Counseling Center is seeking experienced, trauma-informed Yoga Instructors to join our growing team of holistic wellness practitioners.

We are a women-owned wellness and counseling center dedicated to supporting the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Founded by therapists, Airmid integrates mental health counseling, mindful movement, holistic wellness services, and community healing experiences under one roof.

We are specifically seeking instructors who specialize in at least two of the following modalities:

  • Yin Yoga
  • Yoga Nidra
  • Vinyasa Yoga
  • Hatha Yoga

Our ideal instructor understands that yoga is more than movement—it is a tool for regulation, resilience, self-awareness, and healing.

About Our Community

Airmid is home to a unique blend of wellness participants and counseling clients. Through our therapist referral program, individuals may attend classes as part of their wellness and healing journey. Because of this, all instructors must be able to create a welcoming, inclusive, and trauma-sensitive environment that supports students of varying backgrounds, abilities, and life experiences.

We value instructors who can hold space with compassion, maintain appropriate boundaries, and adapt their teaching to meet students where they are.

Schedule Availability Needed

We are currently hiring instructors with availability for one of the following scheduling blocks:

Option 1 (2 evenings) 

  • Monday evenings
  • Wednesday evenings
  • Thursday evenings

OR

Option 2 (1 of the prior evenings & mornings)

  • Wednesday through Sunday early mornings

Additional opportunities for workshops, special events, substitute teaching, corporate wellness programs, and off-site presentations may become available as our wellness programs continue to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safe, engaging, and trauma-informed yoga classes
  • Create an inclusive environment for students of all experience levels
  • Arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to class start time
  • Remain available for participant arrival, questions, and studio support
  • If no students are present at class start time, instructors are expected to remain onsite for 15 minutes after the scheduled class start time before class may be canceled
  • Maintain professionalism and positive communication with participants and staff
  • Support Airmid's mission of whole-person wellness and healing
  • Assist in building a welcoming community-centered class experience

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification
  • Trauma-Informed Yoga Training or demonstrated trauma-sensitive teaching experience
  • Experience teaching yoga classes independently
  • Specialization in at least two of the following: Yin, Yoga Nidra, Vinyasa, or Hatha
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality

Preferred

  • 300-hour Yoga Certification
  • Experience working alongside mental health professionals or wellness centers
  • Additional certifications in meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, somatics, restorative yoga, or related holistic modalities
  • Experience facilitating workshops, retreats, or wellness events
