Levan Counseling, LLC is eagerly seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our specialized team. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, providing you the freedom to work from your home while staying connected with our multidisciplinary team through regular virtual meetings and consultations. Although the position is remote, our outpatient office serves as a hub for collaborative care, emphasizing constant communication between professionals to ensure our clients receive the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma histories, facilitating the identification of suitable therapeutic approaches.
• Design and execute customized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that provide emotional support, coping strategies, and a safe space for patients to process their trauma.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive care for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and efficient support for clients in distress.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them in their healing journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in line with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings dedicated to trauma-informed practices while engaging in continuous professional development opportunities.
• Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in trauma therapy, ensuring that the care provided remains effective and progressive.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus on working with individuals experiencing various trauma-related disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the opportunity to provide care to patients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their healing journey with empathy and understanding.

Qualifications

• Education: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is required.
• Skills: Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methods.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor essential for client engagement.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma.
• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and utilizing innovative therapeutic techniques.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications to facilitate patient care effectively.
• Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing collaboration to enrich patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, we provide a comprehensive healthcare benefits package that includes:
