Work Environment

This role is conducted in a fully remote setting, leveraging telehealth technology to engage with clients. As a member of our team, you will benefit from flexible hours, allowing you to create a schedule that suits both your lifestyle and client needs. While we promote an independent working environment, you will have the full support of our administrative team, including a receptionist and billing services, who manage the logistical aspects of client care, enabling you to focus solely on counseling.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver crisis interventions when required and maintain consistent client sessions to foster therapeutic relationships and continuity of care.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop client-centered treatment plans, and facilitate timely termination sessions as appropriate.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to document client interactions and treatment notes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with fellow counselors through consultations, supervision, and referrals, cultivating a supportive network for both professionals and clients.
• Exercise ethical judgment to address safety concerns and make informed decisions with the clients' best interests at heart.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse client base, including adults, children, adolescents, and couples dealing with varying degrees of trauma. Experience in modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems) will be beneficial. Our emphasis on trauma-informed care means a significant portion of your work will involve tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of those affected by trauma and PTSD.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field. A Master's degree is strongly preferred.
• Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in Oregon is preferred, underscoring your eligibility to practice in this role.
• Strong understanding and adherence to ethical guidelines and HIPAA standards relevant to mental health practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in trauma-informed counseling and working with clients suffering from PTSD.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems.
• A history of developing therapeutic relationships that foster trust and openness among clients.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, reflective of your skills and experience. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
