Oasis Mental Clinic is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. This full-time role, which offers the flexibility of remote work, focuses on providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to our patients through a combination of telehealth and face-to-face sessions in Portland, Oregon. Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Professional Counselor will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain an understanding of patients' trauma histories and to develop appropriate treatment strategies.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and promote resilience.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist patients.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process trauma, establish coping mechanisms, and foster healing.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Responding effectively to crises and providing support during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Participating in case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care and staying updated on best practices within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse patient population seeking assistance with trauma-related mental health issues. Patients may include children, adults, and families dealing with various forms of trauma and stressors, necessitating a compassionate, non-judgmental, and personalized approach. Our clinic emphasizes tailored interventions that respect the unique backgrounds and experiences of our clients.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital tools for documentation and case management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly beneficial:

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly related to trauma.
• Experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions while demonstrating adaptability in treatment approaches.
• A strong character that embodies integrity, honesty, adaptability, and a dedication to quality care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:

• Guaranteed pay with annual increases and opportunities for bonuses.

• Flexibility in scheduling, with clinic hours from 7 am to 10 pm seven days a week.
• No required on-call duties and protection against no-show appointments.
• Full clinical caseload typically established within the first 90 days, post-credentialing (which we cover).
