Responsibilities

MV Transportation is seeking anOperations and Safety Supervisorto assist the General Manager with the daily management of shuttle service delivery, in compliance with the policies of the contracting agency and company procedures.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Monitors daily operations, ensures performance and safety on all routes.
  • Reviews schedules and daily manifests for efficiency and operational performance.
  • Lead the division in the area of safety organization regarding classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction.
  • Ensures all safety manuals, programs, policies and practices are kept current and meet the operational needs.
  • Oversees the proper use of software and in-vehicle technology. 
  • Counsel/coach Drivers and Dispatchers as required.Enforce the procedures and policies delineated in the Employee Handbook, CBA, and local division procedures. 
  • Respond to client requests. 
Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

  • Must have at least three to five (3-5) years' experience in recent and relevant transit supervisory position. 
  • The ideal candidate would have experiencein BTW training, scheduling, personnel management and operations. 
  • Experience in MS Office software is a must. 
  • The qualified candidate must be able to work independently and have strong written and verbal skills. 
  • Knowledge of the contractual obligations is a must to perform this job correctly. 
  • Knowledge of company policy assures that the operation supervisor is using consistent measures to assess a Driver`s activity.
