LAKE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT 7NOW HIRING: TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS COORDINATORLocation: District-WideStatus: ConfidentialFTE: 1.0Schedule: 12-Month PositionSalary: $42,000-$52,000, DOEBenefits: Full Benefits PackageStart Date: ASAPLake County School District 7 is seeking a Transportation Operations Coordinator to provide leadership and operational oversight of the District's transportation program.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of District transportation services.Oversee, schedule, and evaluate district bus drivers.Coordinate the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and separation of bus driver personnel in collaboration with the Superintendent.Coordinate all district-wide transportation needs, including routes, field trips, special transportation, and extracurricular activities.Work closely with the Athletic Director to coordinate transportation for all athletic events.Collaborate with district secretaries, administrators, coaches, bus drivers, and other staff to ensure transportation needs are met.Work with the Superintendent to oversee and evaluate the Transportation Mechanic.Coordinate transportation schedules, staffing, vehicle availability, records, and operational needs.Maintain confidentiality and ensure transportation operations follow District policies and applicable requirements.RequirementsCPR CertificationVECTOR Training Certification Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will be highly organized, dependable, professional, and able to manage multiple schedules and priorities.
