Description The Senior Training& Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced training programs, acting as an expert to improve employee skills, and aligning learning initiatives with business goals. This position analyzes organizational training needs, creates instructional materials (e-learning, workshops), and evaluates training effectiveness. This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
It requires an onsite presence daily. Examples of Duties Oversees and manages all aspects of employee training programs. Analyzes training needs of the business.
Identifies skill gaps and opportunities for training programs. Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs. Designs and implements training curricula to meet business needs.
Conducts training seminars and programs for staff including management, technical, and supervisory employees. Leads presentations, manages complex stakeholder Q&A, and tailors messaging for executive audiences. Engages and collaborates with outside consultants to effectively present training programs for senior leaders.
Maintains current knowledge of new training techniques and developments. Typical Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Education, Psychology, Business, or a related fieldand10years related experience designing, implementing, evaluating, and delivering workforce training programs. Thorough knowledge of instructional design best practices.
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, evaluating, and delivering adult learning programs for leaders at multiple levels. Experience using surveys and course evaluations to identify gaps and recommend improvements for training programs in accordance with organizational needs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other desk top applications as necessary.
Demonstrated experience maintaining complex records, to assemble and organize data and to prepare reports from such data. Demonstrated experience performing administrative and management duties with minimal direction from a supervisor. Must pass a controlled substance (drug) test for employment.
Supplemental Information Ability to work at a desk operating a computer for up to 8 hours a day. Ability to lift, carry or move items up to 20lbs, move around the office, and travel to different employer locations. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with tact and congeniality. Ability to meet in-office work requirements.
