Description

We are seeking an experienced Training Analyst (Junior) for a Department of War (DoW) client in Arlington, VA. Partial telework may be approved for the right candidate based on the client’s discretion. Working closely with Plateau team members and government stakeholders, this role involves working on all aspects of training material development and delivery, to include in-person and virtual training courses.

This position is currently hybrid with onsite support in Arlington, VA. The location can change based upon customer and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the preparation of instructor material and required job aids, templates, and reference materials to support different training platforms/formats.
  • Maintain a digital training site to manage all approved course offering.
  • Conduct a quality check/quality assurance on all data provided.
  • Assist in the conversion of traditional learning materials to alternate learning formats, such as using video streaming and/or state of the art technology.
  • Assist in the development of a master schedule(s) of courses.
  • Identify and resolve any issues that may detract from professional training presentations.
  • Assist with development of such software or system, training for the system, implementation of the system for delivery of training and/or meetings, and actions to archive or save data and recordings from the system as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is highly desired.
  • Two or more years of experience working in a training development and delivery role for a large organization.
  • Experience developing and delivering training courses for DoW organizations is highly desired.
  • Documented experience using Computer Based Training (CBT) tools such as Adobe Captivate to create multimedia training materials.
  • Documented experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to manage training courses.
  • Ability to write training scripts, develop storyboard plans, combine and edit training videos, add and edit sound, still images, graphics, and voice over content.
  • Strong presentation skills in a client-facing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Security Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance (this requires US Citizenship)

Compensation & Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000, with the final offer determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, and overall qualifications.
