Mission Trainer – Senior

Position / LCAT: Mission Trainer Level: Senior Lead Designation: N/A Location: Fort Belvoir, VA / Fort Huachuca, AZ / Fort Bragg, NC

Role Summary

Develops, maintains, and delivers training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards. Provides lesson plans, presentations, and curricula in support of educational goals and maintains material within the assigned educational system (i.e., AGILE, Training Development Capability (TDC), etc.). Reviews emerging policy and doctrine publications, provides feedback, and assesses for incorporation into training products. Develops and maintains training records and tracking systems as required or designated by the Government.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards
  • Provide lesson plans, presentations, and curricula in support of educational goals
  • Maintain training material within the assigned educational system (AGILE, Training Development Capability (TDC), etc.)
  • Review emerging policy and doctrine publications, provide feedback, and assess for incorporation into training products
  • Develop and maintain training records and tracking systems
  • Engage with organizations to identify site requirements for training (classrooms, workstations, network connectivity), scheduling, and identification of attendees
  • Provide training for the usage of web technologies at customer locations, including overview of capabilities, services, web sites, portals, applications, and services
  • Develop dynamic blocks of instruction subject to change to meet unit mission requirements and update content to stay abreast of new emerging technologies
  • Deliver courses including Information Sharing, Intelligence Reporting, Access to the IC, Army Messaging 101, Collaboration Platforms, Cross Domain Solutions, Intelligence Enterprise Tools, Intelligence Community Resources, Inbound/Outbound M3, AIDP, Boolean Logic, and Army Intelligence POR system intermediate workflows and tools
  • Develop a training curriculum covering all organizational functions and services, including training modules, scenario-based training, and practical exercises with appropriate handouts and materials
  • Conduct After Action Reviews (AAR) at the end of each course; consolidate and summarize student feedback
  • Conduct internal AARs to discuss student/instructor feedback, lessons learned, and curriculum deficiencies
  • Participate in in-house training, Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) to TDY locations, and virtual course offerings
  • Maintain a database of all training dates and curriculum for reference and accountability
  • Maintain training records and AARs and conduct a yearly roll-up of units attended, number and names of personnel trained, locations, recurring feedback, and suggestions for improvement
  • Obtain an Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) account to manage course information, offerings, and attendance rosters
  • Maintain course attendance rosters containing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) for use with ATRRS
Required Qualifications
  • 5 years demonstrated experience conducting training at U.S. locations in multiple geographic locations
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and formulating training materials or curriculum IAW TRADOC and Army standards
  • Demonstrated experience instructing and conducting training for military audiences
  • Current DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Associates degree with 7 years' experience in an intelligence discipline OR High School Diploma with 9 years' experience in an intelligence discipline
