Location: Houston, TX 77024

Are you a dynamic Training & Development professional who thrives on engaging audiences, developing impactful learning experiences, and helping employees reach their full potential?

Protouch Staffing is seeking a Training & Development Specialists for an exciting contract opportunity supporting a leading healthcare organization in Houston. This role is ideal for a polished facilitator and learning professional who can confidently engage employees at all levels and deliver high-quality training across a variety of programs and learning environments.

You'll play an important role within the Organizational Development & Learning (OD&L) team, helping design, coordinate, facilitate, and continuously improve employee education and development programs.

 

What You'll Do

As a Training & Development Specialist, you will:

  • Research training materials, instructional methods, and industry best practices.

  • Develop and facilitate engaging employee training programs.

  • Update, modify, and enhance existing courses and learning content.

  • Help establish and maintain training curricula.

  • Facilitate training in virtual, classroom, and other learning modalities.

  • Coordinate and deliver employee development programs for employees at all organizational levels.

  • Support major organizational learning initiatives, including:

    • New Employee Orientation / Culture Day

    • New Leader Orientation / JumpStart

    • Leadership Development / LEAD Program

    • Consumer Experience / The MH Experience

    • Technical training programs

    • Other educational and professional development programs

  • Coordinate class schedules, enrollment, logistics, and other administrative responsibilities.

  • Work closely with OD&L leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery.

  • Evaluate training needs and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Troubleshoot training-related issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organization.

  • Travel between organizational sites as needed, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred OR 5+ years of equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience coordinating and delivering employee development or training programs.

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate complex business and technical information clearly.

  • Experience presenting to and engaging diverse audiences and employees at multiple organizational levels.

  • Hands-on experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Cornerstone OnDemand or a comparable platform.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment.

  • Professional communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with individuals at all levels of an organization.

  • Ability and willingness to commute between sites as needed.

  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus!

 Compliance & Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Current TB Skin Test (PPD) - Must be current at the time of placement.

  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine - Required and must be completed by October 1, 2026.
