Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for developing training for all manufacturing employees in an effective manner, as well as maintaining accurate records of training. Conduct classroom training for New Hire Orientation, Cell Lead Orientation, core competencies and other classroom training as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain accurate training records for current and newly trained manufacturing employees. Maintain compliance with ISO/TS 16949 requirements.
  • Train new hires to ZF Marshall standards.
  • Use presentation skills to conduct classroom training.
  • Audit procedures, instructions, trainers and operators for compliance.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement of training and operations.
  • Keep updated on newly revised procedures and ensure those revisions are communicated to Cell Leads and trainers.
  • Consistently apply training practices and procedures throughout interactions with employees.
  • Create and edit training videos.
  • Complies with and supports the health, safety and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
  1. High school degree or equivalent.
  2. At least 6 months in previous job assignment.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Certification in at least one area of manufacturing for at least a year is preferred.
  5. Aptitude indicative of performing multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  6. Demonstrated ability to successfully perform in a team environment through use of good interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficient with various computer programs (i.e. MS Office Applications).
  8. Ability to work various shifts as required to support operation.
