The Systems Engineering and Test Center, Effectors, is seeking a Test Director to manage the end-to-end integration lifecycle for U.S. government contracts. Responsibilities include test procedure development and execution, planning and performing integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications. A strong technical background is required. The position works in a lab and field test environments with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execution of test events cumulating in multiple flight test demonstrations.
  • Perform comprehensive planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of testing activities.
  • Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements.
  • Conduct/create documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Engineering Safety Review Boards (ESRB’s).
  • Liaison between the test execution team, customer representatives (when present) and program leads during the preparation and execution of the test events.
  • This position may require up to 10% travel during periods that include field test execution.

What You Will Learn:

  • Manage system lab and field testing and provide reliable data to the program leadership team enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.
  • Communicate with many levels of program, and other contractors and works to positively guide parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures, and practices.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with Systems Integration, test planning and/or test execution
  • Experience with test related reviews (i.e. CTS, TRR & ESRB’s)
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Coyote flight test operations or other rapid development programs
  • Experience collecting and analyzing test data
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Experience with telemetry data analysis tools, and missile systems host platforms.
  • Ability to become certified in explosives handling for 1.1 products.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
