Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector Test Engineering organization is seeking Associate Engineer / Engineer to be an instrumental part of Northrop Grumman's Test Engineering Team. This is a 2nd shift position.
What You'll Get to Do:
  • Antenna test equipment design in support of factory phased array testing
  • Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility
  • Test software and test equipment design related to phased array testing
  • Software development for automating test processes and data analysis
  • Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems
  • Support technicians with troubleshooting and training
  • Analyze test data and identify early trends
  • Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements
  • Maintain sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and procedures

This position will be filled at either the Associate Antenna Test Engineer or the Antenna Test Engineer.
Basic Qualifications Associate Antenna Test Engineer 1:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM
  • Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
  • Professional software development experience using languages such as C#, Visual Basic, MATLAB, Mate, etc.
  • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift.

Basic Qualifications Antenna Test Engineer 2:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline plus 2 or more years of relevant experience; or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline
  • Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
  • Professional software development experience using languages such as C#, Visual Basic, MATLAB, Mate, etc.
  • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
  • Test development experience in a nearfield and/ or compact antenna range
  • RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience
  • Familiarity with RF and antenna theory

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,700.00 - $109,100.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $131,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
