Summary: The Sustaining Test Engineer provides support for test processes on the production floor and product startups working with Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA).
Responsibilities:
โข Coordinates the installation of production test equipment
โข Performs test equipment qualifications and characterization
โข Coordinates the installation of hardware and software updates as required
โข Proposes ideas for custom tooling for overall test process and equipment improvement
โข Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities
โข Assists in reviewing engineering design drawings and DFX reports prior to production release for testability
โข Assists in developing product specific test programs
โข Works with cross functional teams to address corrective actions
โข Assists maintenance in developing preventative maintenance and calibration procedures
โข Analyzes line return information to understand and drive corrective action on test process issues
โข Complies and follows all company policies and procedures
โข Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

โข Ability to lift 75 lbs. to manage test fixtures
โข Understanding of and ability to use metrics and continuous improvement tools (e.g. DPMO, FPY, DPM, Six Sigma, FMEA, etc.)
โข 0-3+ years of electronics manufacturing experience

Compensation Range: $63,328.000 to $79,160.000 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
