The Electrical Test Associate provides entry-level technical support to manufacturing test engineering activities, focusing on electrical test systems, data collection, and process improvement initiatives. You will work under close supervision to assist in troubleshooting test equipment, maintaining documentation, and supporting production operations. Coordinates with Equipment Operations to develop, plan and execute test equipment maintenance and calibration intervals.
General Responsibilities
  • Assist in troubleshooting electrical test system issues and supporting root cause investigations
  • Support daily monitoring of test equipment performance and report abnormalities
  • Help log and track defects in accordance with quality system procedures
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and calibration coordination of test systems
  • Support engineering team with data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving yield and efficiency
  • Assist in evaluation of scrap and failure trends
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams on assigned tasks
  • Help update and maintain test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation
  • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines
  • Demonstrate integrity and promote an inclusive workplace aligned with company values

Skills and Experience
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and engineering fundamentals
  • Exposure to electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, power supply) preferred
  • Ability to read basic electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education
  • Actively enrolled in or pursuing a Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering, or a closely related degree

Location & Schedule
  • Location: Clear Lake, TX (Southeast Houston area near NASA)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p
