Job description

Rosenthal Rosenthal Rasco is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal/Real Estate Closing Secretary for a full-time employee on a short-term project. The ideal candidate will have experience managing residential real estate transactions from contract through closing and post-closing with minimal supervision.


This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively prioritize multiple transactions, and consistently meets deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.


Responsibilities


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Open, manage, and process real estate closing files from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, title underwriters, and other parties involved in the transaction.
  • Prepare closing documents, settlement statements, and related closing packages.
  • Review title requirements and assist in clearing title issues as needed.
  • Disburse transaction funds in accordance with closing transactions.
  • Draft and issue final title insurance policies.
  • Maintain accurate file documentation and ensure compliance with applicable procedures.
  • Perform all other tasks associated with residential real estate closings.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, Closing Secretary, or similar role.
  • Proven ability to independently process real estate transactions from opening through post-closing.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while working under deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Closers' Choice software.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
