Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Consultant for a contract/temporary remote opportunity supporting software packaging, endpoint management, and application deployment activities in a professional IT services environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical consultant with strong ConfigMgr, Intune, PowerShell, and software deployment experience.
The IT Consultant will work closely with end users, software stewards, and IT teams to package, test, deploy, update, and remove software across Windows workstations and servers. This opportunity offers a collaborative remote work environment, supportive technical leadership, and the chance to contribute to structured IT processes, change management, compliance baselines, and enterprise application lifecycle support.
This is a strong fit for a self-motivated IT professional who enjoys solving deployment challenges, documenting technical outcomes, and supporting reliable software delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create applications, classic packages, task sequences, and deployment objects within ConfigMgr for new software, updates, and software removals.
- Build Intune applications natively or through Win32 packaging to support modern endpoint management needs.
- Develop installation scripts, manage scheduled deployments, and create configuration baselines for software settings and compliance.
- Test, validate, troubleshoot, and document application packages, deployment results, logs, and technical issues.
- Manage software collections, reports, pilot groups, add-ins, browser extensions, and long-term software update schedules.
- Partner with end users, IT staff, and software stewards to determine packaging requirements, customizations, and deployment readiness.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $43.00 to $53.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.

- End date: 9/25/26.
