  • Review legal materials for accuracy, completeness, rigor, clarity, and practical relevance
  • Assess whether legal conclusions are supported by appropriate reasoning, issue spotting, and domain-specific analysis
  • Identify inaccurate legal assumptions, incomplete analysis, weak conclusions, unclear risk framing, or poor linkage between facts and recommendations

Trademark & Copyright Evaluation

  • Review materials involving trademark clearance, likelihood of confusion, registrability, infringement analysis, opposition risk, brand usage, and portfolio-related questions
  • Evaluate copyright-related materials involving ownership, licensing, fair use, derivative works, rights clearance, DMCA issues, and infringement analysis
  • Assess legal memos, research summaries, risk matrices, comparison tables, and presentation materials for substantive accuracy and professional quality
  • Provide clear written feedback that improves IP legal reasoning and artifact quality

Spreadsheet, Document & Presentation Quality Review

  • Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, formatting, usability, and consistency
  • Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality
  • Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files
  • Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in IP law, trademark law, copyright law, brand protection, licensing, legal research, rights clearance, or related legal work
  • Native or professional fluency in English
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
  • Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment

Educational Background

  • J.D., LL.B., LL.M., Master's degree, or equivalent advanced legal education may be relevant
  • Academic backgrounds in law, intellectual property, business, media, technology, entertainment, communications, or related fields may be valuable
  • Professional training in trademark, copyright, licensing, brand protection, or IP portfolio work may also be relevant depending on project scope

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Experience reviewing trademark clearance materials, copyright assessments, licensing summaries, IP memos, rights matrices, brand protection materials, or legal presentation decks
  • Familiarity with USPTO trademark processes, TTAB matters, copyright registration, IP licensing, brand enforcement, online infringement, or content rights review
  • Experience reviewing presentation decks for clarity, polish, and business-facing communication quality
  • Strong ability to evaluate both legal substance and visual/presentation quality

Why This Opportunity

  • Apply IP, trademark, and copyright law expertise to structured remote evaluation work
  • Review high-quality documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across intellectual property and rights-related topics
  • Contribute to accurate, rigorous, and professionally presented legal materials
  • Use your legal judgment and communication skills to improve artifact quality
  • Remote structure with competitive hourly compensation

Contract Details
