What You Will Do:
  • Support the design and implementation of program evaluation and performance measurement activities for public health programs.
  • Collect, organize, maintain, and validate program and evaluation data to support analysis and reporting efforts.
  • Analyze and visualize data using tools such as R and Power BI to support program monitoring, evaluation, and decision-making.
  • Support responses to data requests from program teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and data summaries to communicate program performance, outcomes, and findings.
  • Assist in identifying, tracking, and refining performance indicators and evaluation measures aligned with program objectives.
  • Conduct literature reviews, environmental scans, and other research activities to support evaluation planning and implementation.
  • Support the development of evaluation tools, data collection instruments, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to implement monitoring and evaluation activities and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to discussions regarding evaluation approaches, findings, and recommendations.

What You Will Need:
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"
  • Bachelor's degree
  • ONE (1) or more years of relevant experience supporting program evaluation, public health research, data analytics, performance measurement, or related consulting activities.

What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience using R, SAS, SPSS, Python, or similar analytical tools for data analysis.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms.
  • Understanding of evaluation concepts, logic models, performance measurement, and applied research methodologies.
  • Experience cleaning, managing, and analyzing structured datasets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while working collaboratively within project teams.
  • Experience supporting projects for federal or state public health agencies (e.g., CDC, HHS, state health departments).
  • Familiarity with public health surveillance, program evaluation, data governance, and privacy requirements.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and data visualizations for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, or other advanced analytics and data management tools.
  • Experience supporting monitoring, evaluation, learning, or quality improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with implementation science, health outcomes research, or applied public health evaluation methods.
