OSMC is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system within a patient-centered, service-driven environment. Our team works collaboratively to ensure every patient receives exceptional care and support throughout their treatment journey.

OSMC is looking to add staff to our growing medical records department. If you have past medical records experience and want to join a team that believes in teamwork then apply now!

This person will be cross trained in all areas of medical records pertaining to forms completion (FMLA & Disability), scanning papers into patientโ€™s medical record chart, releasing information from patientโ€™s charts to the patient, other physiciansโ€™ offices, attorneys, insurance companies and hospitals, with the proper HIPAA compliant release of information forms. Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking and maintaining confidentiality is required as you will be working with documentation for additional importing, exporting, and transferring from one program to another from multiple sites, departments, and other offices/hospitals. This person will also be answering a fast-paced phone line and making outgoing calls to locate medical records for patientsโ€™ upcoming appointments and other duties as requested. Prior medical records experience is preferred. Strong computer experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Abode, Mpage Reach, IHIE and LabCorp is helpful to be successful in this position.

The hours for this position is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

This position does require a minimum of a GED/high school diploma to apply.
