About CSUF:

About the Position:

Cal State Fullerton seeks individuals interested in temporary appointments, which range from a duration of several days to a maximum of 180 days within various departments. The Temporary Pool is established for current and future vacancies to replace an employee on a leave of absence or to provide support during a recruitment process subsequent to an employee's resignation. Applications are accepted and reviewed continuously and are kept one file from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

We can not guarantee the number of hours-per-week. Working hours and schedule will vary according to department needs. Appointments may be eligible for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act. Appointments can end on or before the stated ending date.

Essential Qualifications

Specific qualifications may vary according to the requirements of the position.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
