Description
Boulder County Office of the County Administrator Office is seeking to hire 2 (two) Temporary Office Assistant- Board of Equalization. The Boulder County Board of Equalization is seeking Temporary Office Assistants to perform a variety of administrative support tasks up to 40 hours a week. This position will entail both basic and high-level administrative functions. Parking is the responsibility of the employee.
This is a term limited position with an anticipated end date of no later than November 3.
This is an hourly, non-benefited position that will work 20-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. This position will work out of 1325 Pearl St., Boulder, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range: $25.00Hourly
Tentative Hiring Timeline:
  • Phone Screening: Week of August 24th

Examples of Duties
  1. Assisting the public over the phone and email, providing information and referring individuals to appropriate staff
  2. Using computer software for data input and processing reports
  3. Maintaining electronic files
  4. Proofing and indexing documents
  5. Operating various office equipment
  6. Completing and processing reports and forms
  7. Checking and verifying information to various electronic records
  8. Opening, sorting, and scanning mail appeals into software
  9. Facilitating and monitoring property valuation hearings via MS Teams to act as a virtual greeter
  10. Performs related work, as required
  11. May be reassigned during emergency situations

Additional related education may count towards required experience.
