Make an impact

Proposal Development

  • Create, edit, and format customer proposals, executive summaries, statements of work, qualifications, and supporting sales documents.
  • Transform technical and commercial inputs from multiple stakeholders into clear, compelling, customer-focused content.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with Swisslog branding, communication standards, and proposal governance requirements.
  • Support proposal managers and solution designers in preparing polished customer deliverables.

Template and Content Management

  • Own and maintain Swisslog proposal templates, style guides, and document standards.
  • Develop and manage a centralized proposal content library including:
    • Standard solution descriptions
    • Technical collateral
    • Reusable proposal content
  • Continuously improve documentation standards to increase proposal quality and efficiency.

Quality Assurance

  • Perform final quality reviews of customer-facing documents prior to release.
  • Verify consistency of terminology, formatting, branding, and messaging across all proposal materials.
  • Ensure proposals are complete, accurate, and professionally presented.
  • Coordinate proposal review cycles and manage document version control

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate inputs from Sales, Engineering, Solution Design, Project Management, Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams.
  • Track content ownership and ensure contributors provide updated information within agreed timelines.
  • Facilitate proposal review meetings and manage action items related to proposal documentation.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline proposal development processes.
  • Develop best practices for proposal creation and document management.
  • Provide training and guidance on proposal templates, tools, and writing standards.
  • Support the implementation and administration of proposal management and document collaboration tools
What you need to succeed

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of technical writing, proposal writing, business writing, or related experience.
  • Exceptional written, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong ability to organize complex technical information into clear customer-facing documents.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience managing document templates and style guidelines.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working within warehouse automation, material handling, logistics, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
  • Familiarity with proposal management processes and RFP responses.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, proposal management systems, or document management platforms.
  • Knowledge of Swisslog solutions, software, and automation technologies.
