Technical Product Engineers should possess in-depth technical knowledge of the product(s) they support. They remain engaged with the Manger, Product Owner, Tech Lead, Architect and development squad to maintain alignment with product goals, roadmap, and vision for business and I.T. stakeholders.

Provide technical analysis of product and product enhancements understanding the overall impact on downstream/upstream systems for a product/set of products

Support Product Owner with Product Backlog management

Maintains an up-to-date status of work for the team reflected in Agility

Be an active member of the team understanding the role and responsibilities of the squad.

Responsible for creating and maintaining technical and functional requirements, workflows, and processes for the product(s)

Qualifications

• Data Background

– 3+ years of experience in relational and non-relational data research/mining, data transformations, and/or data streaming required.

• Agile

– Proven experience collaborating with medium sized Agile teams (e.g. 5+ member teams). 3+ years in an Agile environment required.

– Proven experience writing both business user and technical stories. 2+ years in a Product Owner role is preferred.

– Agile Certifications are preferred, including but not limited to CSPO, A-CSPO, CBAP, PO/PM

– 2+ years in Software Development environment or working with delivery teams

– Clear and concise communication skills

– Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

– Sense of curiosity, with natural ability to think upstream and downstream
