Position Summary:We're seeking a Technical Product Owner to serve as a leader driving a cohesive roadmap and execution within the Enterprise Services team, supporting back office teams and applications such as Salesforce (CRM) and underlying data ecosystems including Snowflake and Azure Data Lake. The Technical Product Owner acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, defining and prioritizing product features and enhancements that align with business goals while ensuring technical feasibility. You will gather requirements from end-users, translate them into clear user stories, and maintain the product backlog. You will work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure solutions are delivered efficiently, with a focus on optimizing workflows, improving data integrity, and enabling automation to support core business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining the product vision: Establishing the overall goals and objectives of the SaaS product, setting the vision and direction for the product and communicating it to the development team.
  • Developing and maintaining the product roadmap in partnership with the Development Manager and Domain Technical Lead to provide consistent, clear, and realistic updates to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders: Gathering feedback and clarifying requirements to align with business objectives.
  • Managing the product backlog: Prioritizing and refining the list of features and tasks to be developed.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Functional Design Document (FDD) and functional specifications make sense and meet end user's needs, enabling the developer to define how the system will be built.
  • Works closely with the development team in authoring the Technical Design Document (TDD).
  • Leading sprint planning and participating in scrum ceremonies: Planning the upcoming sprint and selecting backlog items based on priority and capacity, participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, grooming, and release planning.
  • Participate in acceptance testing and validation of completed features to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria and deliver the intended value to users.
  • Overseeing release management and quality assurance: Monitoring product performance and ensuring high-quality features are delivered.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience working with Salesforce (CRM).
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Strong communication skills that allow you to speak directly to your stakeholders using their language and mental models

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience in software development
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM), Agile Certified Product Owner (CAPO), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) higher desirable

This role follows a hybrid work model, with regular in-office presence required at our Minneapolis office.

The annual salary range for this role is: $100,200 - $150,400 + Equity. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
