The Senior Technical Product Owner manages and communicates the vision and roadmap for products to an Agile delivery team and are aligned with Technology standards and strategy. The Senior Product Owner - Technical work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

** This position will require an in-office presence a minimum of 2-3 days per week as determined by the hiring leader, in one of the following market locations: Nashville, TN, Dallas/Frisco, TX, or Louisville, KY.**

The Senior Technical Product Owner represents the voice of the customer to the team. Owns the articulation and prioritization of backlog in small increments of value that can be delivered in short iterations. Drives value to the business by building and maintaining a product backlog in collaboration with stakeholder and delivery teams. Contributes to shaping the product direction, creating the feature(s), writing user stories, and innovation. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of degree requirement.

  • 7+ years of Product Management/Technical Product Owner experience, including progressive growth through Technical/QA lead roles into product ownership.

  • 5+ years in healthcare industry or similar patient-facing operational systems.

  • Agile product ownership experience with ability to succeed in sustaining high-velocity release cadences across cross-functional engineering teams.

  • Hands-on experience applying AI/LLM tools to accelerate product workflows - story writing, backlog grooming, sprint reporting, and documentation.

  • Ability to translate complex operational requirements into detailed specifications, user stories, and prototypes for engineering teams.

  • Strong technical fluency to partner directly with engineering teams.

  • Stakeholder and executive communication skills, including experience presenting roadmaps and influencing cross-functional and vendor partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner strongly preferred.

  • Experience with QA/testing methodologies (UAT, regression, automation frameworks) sufficient to guide quality standards and acceptance criteria.

  • Experience working with onshore/offshore team structure

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$104,000 - $143,000 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
