They act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements. Senior Technical Product Owners often lead cross-functional teams, set product vision, and make strategic decisions to deliver high-value products efficiently. Job description

Become a part of our caring community
The Senior Technical Product Owner for the Next Best Action (NBA) Decision Intelligence Platform owns the product backlog and roadmap for an AI-powered personalized outreach platform serving Medicare Advantage members across omnichannel touchpoints. This person is the connective tissue between business strategy, data capabilities, and activation channels, translating complex cross-functional dependencies into sequenced, deliverable increments of value.

What You'll Own

  • Product backlog and roadmap - prioritize features across AI decisioning, data pipelines, and channel activation in close collaboration with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders

  • Data dependency management - partner with data engineering teams to ensure the right member signals (clinical, behavioral, web activity, socioeconomic) are flowing into our Databricks Lakehouse to support model training and scoring

  • Channel activation coordination - manage integration timelines and requirements with digital development teams, Adobe Experience Platform, and outreach channel teams (email, SMS, direct mail) to ensure personalized actions reach members reliably and on time

  • User story authorship - write precise, implementation-ready stories that bridge technical detail with business intent across data engineering, ML engineering, backend, and front-end squads

  • Stakeholder alignment - translate model performance, campaign results, and A/B test outcomes into business language for senior leadership; bring field and operational insights back to delivery teams

  • Rules and eligibility governance - own the backlog for business rules (suppression, frequency caps, consent, eligibility), working with compliance and business owners to keep logic current and auditable

Must-Have:

  • *Sponsorship Not Available for This Role

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Experience as a Product Owner or Technical PM on a data-intensive or AI/ML platform - you understand pipelines, data quality, and model feedback loops as product problems, not just engineering concerns

  • Proven ability to manage external dependencies across data teams, digital development, and vendor channel integrations

  • Experience writing acceptance criteria and user stories that span team boundaries

  • Comfort reasoning about data - you can read a schema, interrogate a dashboard, and spot when something looks wrong

  • Demonstrated use of AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) in day-to-day work - writing, research, analysis, or workflow automation. We expect this role to actively leverage AI to move faster with high-quality outputs.

Strong plus:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform or similar marketing activation tools

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent)

  • Background in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries where compliance and member consent are first-class product concerns

  • Exposure to A/B testing frameworks and how to translate experiment results into roadmap decisions
