Job description

We're seeking a Data/Technical Data Manager to support critical Department of Defense programs right here at Hanscom Air Force Base. In this role, you will be at the heart of configuration and data control - managing technical baselines, governing change processes, and ensuring configuration documentation and deliverables are accurate, compliant, and fully traceable throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You'll collaborate across engineering, program offices, and cross-functional teams to uphold CM plans and DoD standards that directly contribute to the readiness and effectiveness of defense systems and services.

What You'll Do
  • Receive and post CVRi1 and CVRi2 CDRLs.
  • Notify reviewers of CDRL availability and provide due dates for when CRMs are due.
  • Communicate follow ups on due dates as they approach.
  • Compile and return CRMs (if necessary)
  • Draft PCOLs for PK for approvals
  • Track timing and response of CDRLs.
  • Present/report CDRL status in various meeting settings.
  • Prepare/review 1423s and Exhibit As for all contracts.
  • Actively participate and contribute to informational and planning meetings.
  • Provide periodic status updates to Division CM/DM as required.
  • Maintain regular contact with all departments to ensure accuracy of records.
  • When TRBs/CCBs are required, prepare and disseminate TRB/CCB slides for internal and then external review.
  • Prepare for and conduct audits.
  • Lead configuration control for software, engineering documents, and technical data.
  • Manage baselines and CM records (including identification, change control, and status accounting).
  • Analyze proposed changes for impact to operations and sustainment.
  • Ensure contractor and internal conformance with CDRL and compliance standards.
  • Prepare CM reports, data status updates, and government/vendor correspondence in accordance with applicable DoD directives and DFARS.
  • Archive and maintain acquisition documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active Secret Clearance

Preferred
  • DoD configuration management experience.
  • Experience with HW/SW configuration audits and CM tools.
  • Strong understanding of change control processes and SDLC.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and database/data entry tools.

The annual salary range: $120k - $130k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
