Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Data Steward to support enterprise data governance initiatives by ensuring data is accurate, secure, and aligned with business and technical standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data owners, and engineering teams to manage data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities: -
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for assigned data domains and source systems.
  • Partner with business teams to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implement and support enterprise data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor and improve data quality by identifying issues, supporting root cause analysis, and driving defect resolution.
  • Manage Critical Data Elements (CDEs), including mapping, validation, and periodic reviews.
  • Maintain metadata, data lineage, and data catalog information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support audits, regulatory requirements, and governance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with security and privacy teams to ensure proper data classification and protection.
  • Develop SQL queries, reports, and data analysis to support governance activities.

Required Qualifications: -
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, or Data Management.
