Essential Functions
  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Station Casinos "We Win Hearts" Company-wide culture and demonstrating Station Casinos' Championship Service Standards at all times.
  • Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across various systems and platforms.
  • Monitor and enforce data standards, data definitions, and data lifecycle management.
  • Conduct data audits and data profiling to identify and address data quality issues.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data-related projects and initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve application performance and availability issues in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications, business rules and source to target data mappings for IT development teams to implement.
  • Perform data analysis to support decision-making and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate data findings.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business goals.
  • Provide training and support to business users on data management practices and tools.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements related to data management and business analysis.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data governance and business intelligence.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to data systems and business processes.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)) are a plus.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in data management or data stewardship roles.
  • Working knowledge in Hospitality, Gaming and/or Accounting applications, and others.
  • Proven experience with data governance tools, data quality tools, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Cognos, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Working knowledge of agile principles and practices.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Stakeholders, Team Members, Product Owners, and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Must be able to work on call on a rotational basis as required.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
