The Learning & Development Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives, with the objective of building organizational capability to meet current and future business needs. This role partners closely with HR and business leaders to design, deliver, and scale learning solutions that accelerate individual and organizational performance across manufacturing and corporate environments in North America and Latin America.

The position balances traditional learning and talent development practices with a strong focus on manufacturing capability, time-to-productivity, and scalable development systems.

Learning Solutions

  • Lead ongoing L&D strategy and roadmap planning that aligns to enterprise goals and evolving capability needs.
  • Conduct regular needs and gap analyses to inform prioritization and learning investment decisions.
  • Own learning initiatives end-to-end, including strategy, design, delivery, operational execution, system administration, vendor coordination, and post-program evaluation. Measure learning effectiveness and business impact using data and insights to inform decisions and demonstrate value.
  • Partner with the Global Learning & Talent team to develop and deploy "One Amcor" learning content that balances global consistency with regional relevance.
  • Manage the learning budget and various vendors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality learning delivery.
  • Collaborate with business and HR leaders to ensure learning solutions are aligned to strategic priorities and operational realities.

Development Tools

  • Establish and embed a development process that enables leaders and colleagues to navigate career development conversations, aspirations, and growth planning with confidence and clarity.
  • Design and deliver tools, frameworks, and learning experiences that strengthen development ownership at the individual and manager level.
  • Facilitate coaching engagements as needed to support leadership effectiveness and individual development.

Learning Enablement

  • Serve as the business owner for the Learning Management System (LMS), supported the L&D and HRIS teams, ensuring usability, scalability, and adoption.
  • Define and govern learning content standards, processes, and resources to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Oversee content creation tools and resources, enabling subject matter experts and partners to develop effective learning materials.
  • Drive digital learning strategy and innovation to support a geographically dispersed workforce.

CompensationThe starting salary for this position is expected to be between $129,200 to $161,500; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $129,200 to $193,800 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits. The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base pay for this role at the time of this posting. This range is applicable to positions performed in jurisdictions with pay transparency requirements, including CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA, Washington DC, as well as remote roles that may be performed in these locations.
