About the Opportunity
Our Information Technology Services (ITS) team has an immediate opening for a Business Systems Analyst at the Senior level, reporting to the IT Solutions Delivery Manager.
As the Business Systems Analyst, you will ensure that new and existing software applications satisfy business needs by working with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and validate business application requirements. You will also use your understanding of supported customers' needs and opportunities to contextually inform requirements and recommended solutions that will enable them to meet their goals.
What You Will Do:
  • Work with internal customers and encourage open dialogue and contributions to understand requirements, assumptions, current reality, and constraints.
  • Gain knowledge of existing systems and drive solutions for new systems.
  • Prepare documentation of complex requirements by analyzing, synthesizing, and compiling raw requirement information into forms which ensure understanding by all customer and technical staff, and provide project teams with clear design goals by defining characteristics of an acceptable solution.
  • Create comprehensive plans that identify how and when requirements information is exchanged, and present, communicate, verify, and obtain stakeholder approval of requirements from stakeholders and solution implementation teams.
  • Manage complex requirements conflicts, negotiate consensus, and maintain issue logs to ensure all impacted parties are informed of conflict resolution.
  • Partner with downstream/upstream application teams to ensure projects meet specific needs and resolves of all impacted stakeholders.
  • Work with system and application architects to evaluate technology options, validate assumptions, identify risks, and proposes feasible solutions.
  • Ensure application delivery from the development team meets and maintains business requirements.
  • Lead or contribute on workgroups at related to IT Solutions Delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 5+ (Senior level) years of relevant experience.
  • CBAP, AAC or similar certifications preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of application and data modelling techniques with the ability to identify root cause issues and appropriate solutions.
  • Strong experience working in Agile environment/SAFe framework
  • Excellent analytical and design skills.
  • Strong experience in agile management tools like Azure Devops, Jira, Microsoft Planner
  • Ability to facilitate and help resolve of complex conflicts.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts to all audiences.
  • Ability to recognize relationships and impacts between strategic and tactical components of project and business activities.
  • Broad knowledge of Bank lines of business and applications.
