Overview:
OverviewA Business Systems Analyst - EPIC Contract Build is responsible for leveraging healthcare systems knowledge, business processes, and Epic application expertise to support and optimize contract build workflows. This role partners with operational leaders, business stakeholders, and IT teams to maximize system efficiency, improve communication, and implement solutions that support organizational goals.
The Business Systems Analyst will consult with leadership to identify operational and system needs, coordinate with technical teams to design or enhance solutions, provide support and training, and contribute to project execution and customer support efforts.
This role involves gathering and documenting requirements, performing system analysis, developing specifications, and delivering solutions that meet business and operational needs. The ideal candidate will bring experience supporting Epic Contract Build activities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Develop detailed requirements, workflows, and use cases for system enhancement projects.
- Support and maintain Epic Contract Build workflows and configurations.
- Coordinate with IT teams and operational stakeholders to create or update system solutions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application or technology issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Assist with project coordination, product support, testing, and implementation activities.
- Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, tip sheets, and technical specifications.
- Provide end-user support and training as needed.
- Research emerging technologies and process improvement opportunities to enhance business operations.
- Participate in ongoing optimization efforts and support system enhancements.
Education- HS - High School Grad or Equivalent required
Certification/Licensure- Epic certification preferred (Preferred)
Experience- Minimum 2 years of IT experience
- Minimum 2 years of related Business Systems Analyst or application support experience
- Experience gathering requirements, performing system analysis, and supporting business applications
- Experience working with healthcare workflows and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience with Epic Contract Build workflows and configuration
- Experience supporting healthcare applications or Epic environments
- Experience with testing, implementation, and end-user training
