Job description

One Federal Solution is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to support the United States Marshals Service (USMS) by providing systems analysis, application development, reporting, and technical support for automated systems and enterprise applications. The selected individual will work independently or under limited supervision to analyze system requirements, support software applications, develop reports, and assist with process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced federal environment. The Computer Systems Analyst will collaborate with Project Managers, Senior Analysts, and cross-functional teams to support system functionality, troubleshoot operational issues, and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and performance.

Computer Systems Analyst Tasks and Duties:
  • Review office needs related to automated systems, databases, and software applications.
  • Develop applications and system solutions to support program requirements.
  • Develop standard reports to support operational and management reporting needs.
  • Develop ad hoc reports as needed to support leadership and program requirements.
  • Review and analyze reports for completeness, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Support system improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to existing applications and processes.
  • Work in groups and teams on special projects to accomplish program goals.
  • Communicate via telephone and email with high-level officials throughout the agency, district offices, and contract affiliates.
  • Provide technical and operational support related to program systems and applications.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, problem resolution, and system documentation efforts.
  • Support ongoing modernization and process improvement initiatives.
Computer Systems Analyst Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust background investigation.
  • Must have four years of general experience and two years of specialized experience related to systems analysis, application support, database management, or software development.
  • Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal employees as well as outside sources.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change.
  • Ability to embrace new systems and process enhancements.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint is required.

Compensation:

This position offers a target hourly pay range of $39.00/hr to $43.00/hr based on experience, qualifications, and contract alignment.
