Job Description:
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) has a requirement for technical and engineering support in the systems engineering, integration, maintenance, documentation, and development and operation of training simulations. SimIS seeks a Technical Systems Analyst to provide analytical and technical support for shore-based training systems, focusing on scenario development, system integration, and performance analysis. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to analyze complex simulation systems and training requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related technical field
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in systems analysis or military simulation systems
  • Experience with scenario development and validation processes
  • Knowledge of military training systems and simulation technologies
  • Travel required: 25%
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in simulation system analysis and performance evaluation
  • Experience with DIS/HLA simulation standards and protocols
  • Knowledge of LUA scripting and scenario development tools
  • Understanding of system integration principles and methodologies
  • Familiarity with database management and data analysis tools
