Position: System Analyst (Cityworks)
DANE LLC is seeking an experienced System Analyst to support Cityworks, IT Pipes, and other asset management-related platforms. We are seeking a resource with experience in Cityworks and/or GIS administration who can quickly upskill and become proficient with the Cityworks platform. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to acquire new knowledge, develop technical skills, and continuously expand their skill set to support system administration and operational needs.
Position Summary:
The System Analyst supporting the Cityworks application is responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Trimble Cityworks Asset Management System. This role serves as the technical lead for Cityworks projects, integrations, and support, ensuring the system meets operational, reporting, and strategic needs across the organization. The analyst collaborates with IT, GIS, and operational teams to enhance workflows, improve data quality, and support decision-making through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain the Cityworks AMS and PLL platforms, including upgrades,patches, and performance tuning.
  • Design, configure, and optimize Cityworks workflows, service requests, work orders,inspections, and asset hierarchies.
  • Administer and support ITPipes for CCTV inspection workflows, data collection, andreporting.
  • Lead system integrations with GIS (ESRI), financial systems (Oracle Fusion), SCADA,and other enterprise platforms.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Cityworks Analytics,Crystal Reports, ActiveReports, Power BI, SEEQ, and similar tools.
  • Provide advanced user support, training, and documentation for Cityworks usersacross departments.
  • Collaborate with GIS staff to ensure accurate spatial data integration and assetmapping.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with Cityworks support for issueresolution and enhancements.
  • Lead or support Cityworks-related projects, including system expansions, mobiledeployments, and data migrations.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies andindustry standards.
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, GIS, Engineering, or arelated field.
  • 3 or more years of experience with Cityworks AMS/PLL and/or GIS administrationand support.
  • Experience with the ESRI ArcGIS platform and spatial data integration.
  • Experience with reporting platforms like Power BI, Crystal Reports, andActiveReports.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, scripting (Python, PowerShell), and APIintegrations preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Deep understanding of asset management principles and public sector operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-departmental initiatives.
Preferred Certifications:
