Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
About the Team
The Mission Command team within Connected Warfare is building the future of Joint Force Command and Control. We deliver software-defined, AI-enabled, C2 capabilities that connect sensors to shooters across all domains. Our solutions enable warfighters to make faster, better-informed decisions in contested environments. Working directly with operational units, we transform how commanders plan, coordinate, and execute missions in real-time.
About the Job
We are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to play a key role in our United States Navy portfolio. You will be an instrumental player in the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Command and Control and Integrated Fires capabilities purpose-built for Navy operations. This role demands someone who understands the Navy and shipboard operating environment, can translate operational requirements into technical solutions, and thrives at the intersection of technology and warfighting. You will embed with end users during exercises and demonstrations, assist in business development efforts, collaborate with and inform our technical engineering teams, and coordinate closely with your counterparts across Anduril to deliver unified solutions across the Department of War.
What You'll Do
  • Drive product strategy for Navy Mission Command and Integrated Fires programs to establish priorities based on operational impact, technical feasibility, and customer requirements.
  • Provide insights to the business development team and engage with Navy stakeholders, including PAEs, program offices, and operational units. Identify opportunities, shape requirements, and position Anduril capabilities to solve high-priority challenges.
  • Embed with end-users underway during exercises, demonstrations, and operational experiments. Collect feedback directly from warfighters, troubleshoot technical issues in the field, and iterate rapidly based on real-world performance.
  • Coordinate across teams and business lines to ensure unified product development and shared capability delivery across the DoW. Identify commonalities, resolve conflicts, and maximize efficiency.
  • Translate operational concepts and doctrine into actionable technical requirements. Work with engineering teams to architect solutions that fit Navy workflows, tactics, and communication infrastructure.
  • Manage program execution including timelines, budgets, milestones, and stakeholder communications. Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and maintain momentum through challenges.
  • Develop training materials, operational playbooks, and user documentation tailored to Navy end-users. Enable rapid adoption and effective employment of Anduril capabilities.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in defense program management.
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex technical programs, preferably in defense or national security contexts.
  • Strong understanding of shipboard Command and Control systems, Integrated Fires, or related warfighting functions.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience with business development, customer engagement, or requirements development with Department of War stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and operational communities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% working in field environments with operational military units.
  • Active Secret clearance and eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI.

Preferred Qualifications
  • U.S. Navy experience or deep familiarity with Navy operations, doctrine, and organizational structure.
  • Experience with Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) initiatives or related Joint Force integration efforts.
  • Technical background in software development, systems engineering, or defense acquisition.
  • Experience managing programs involving software integration or coordination across multiple military services.
