Position of sous chef in a retirement home. Under the supervision of the head chef, the sous chef must: Prepare soups, cold dishes, starchy foods and cook proteins. Prepare meals in residence 400 to 450 meals per day; Work closely with the head chef; Serve meals at a hot table; Hourly : 40 hour per week position 10 hours per day Every other weekend, mandatory A schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Requirements: The candidate must be hard-working and punctual; Serving quality food Assist with receiving and placing orders
