Job Overview: As a Training Specialist at Oryx Dental Software, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients fully leverage the power of our software. You’ll be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs and working closely with the Knowledge and Resource Specialist, as well as the leadership team, to update and maintain training materials. Your expertise will help drive client success and satisfaction by ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to maximize the benefits of our platform. Some travel for on-site training may occasionally be required. Additionally, flexible hours are occasionally needed to support clients in different time zones and countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Training: Conduct live and virtual training sessions for new and existing clients, that adjust to their learning needs, helping them understand and use the software effectively to meet their practice’s needs.
  • Client Support: Offer follow-up support via email, phone call or video conference, and answer any questions clients may have after training sessions, ensuring they feel confident in using the software and strive towards avoiding any learning / knowledge gaps.
  • Collaboration on Training Materials: Work closely with the Knowledge and Resource Specialist and leadership team to develop, update, and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, videos, and webinars.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from training participants and use it to continuously improve the training content and delivery methods.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Onboarding and Client Success teams to align training with client needs and company objectives.
  • Internal Training: Provide training for internal teams to ensure consistent knowledge and understanding of our products across the company. Also, the Training Specialist needs to stay up to date in the new feature releases and enhancements in the software.
  • Customer Relation: Create a trainer-client strong and supportive relationship that eases the transition to the software and assures client success.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or a related role, preferably in SaaS, healthcare, or dental technology. Experience in a dental office or the dental field is a strong bonus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and instructional skills. Ability to convey complex information in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with cloud-based software and training tools, with an understanding of how to use technology to enhance learning.
  • Customer-Centric: Passionate about helping clients succeed through effective training and building strong relationships
  • Flexibility: Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours to support clients in different time zones and countries.
  • Bilingual is a bonus
