Passionate about hospitality? Have restaurant experience and looking to grow it into a career? We have the job for you! Our Manager Trainee program is a 3-12 month program that puts you on the fast track to becoming a General Manager at one of our establishments. You will have the opportunity to work in various roles throughout the company to give you an inside look on what it takes to manage a successful restaurant. Leadership will mentor you along the way to help guide you to a position of success.

As a Manager in Trainee, you will focus on learning the necessary skills to become the General Manager at one of our establishments. Our Managers in Training will work closely with our VP of Operations to learn how to successfully operate and grow an assigned Sahm’s restaurant. They will provide leadership and direction to ensure the restaurant operates in accordance with all established policies, procedures, standards, company values, and applicable federal, state, and local laws. The Manager in Training will be responsible for:

• Maximize sales and profitability by executing processes that result in superior quality, service, and cleanliness.

• Become competent in the various roles that make up the restaurant operations such as host, expo, server, and bartender.

• Attract and retain customers by broadcasting marketing campaigns around the local community and giving our guests an exceptional dining experience.

• Hire, train, coach and develop a team that works together to accomplish daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals of the restaurant.

• Report on the financial performance of the restaurant on a periodic basis to ensure the restaurant is on track to meet the budget and come prepared to make any necessary adjustments.

• Ensures the grounds and equipment are regularly maintained.

• Complete schedules to align with labor budgets using the daily/weekly report tool to monitor progress.

• Work comfortably on a computer especially with various software systems such as ADP, Toast, 7Shifts, and Marketman.

• Manage and approve payroll.

• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, competitive nature, and contagious enthusiasm that drives team performance to achieve desired results.

• Conflict resolution amongst any internal team issue as well as addressing guest dissatisfaction.
