Vice President, Software Engineering with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, New York. Develop, enhance, support and maintain the Firmโ€™s software solutions in support of its global businesses. Design and develop software components to process structured and unstructured datasets for analytical and operational purposes. Requires: Masterโ€™s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role OR Bachelorโ€™s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role. Prior employment must include three (3) years of experience (with a Masterโ€™s degree) OR five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with 5 of the 7 following skills: C++ or Java; full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within UNIX environment; programming technologies including Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka; relational database management system (RDBMS) such as Sybase or Oracle; micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Spring, or other back-end technologies; and database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB.
