What you'll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Software Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia to gather, analyze and refine software requirements from bankers, financial advisors, regional managers and other business users. Convert software requirements into technical designs, make system level decisions, evaluate, integrate and develop final software product. Work on application development using various technologies including Angular JS, Angular 6, JavaScript, Java 8, Springboot, Hibernate, MYSQL, DB2, KAFKA, MQ, and CPS. Develop high performance, low latency lending software system which involves complex workflows and software development life cycle management capabilities. Test the software in different environments and eventually deploy to production for delivering the project to software end users. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What you'll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Consultant, IT Analyst or a related role.

-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

  • JavaScript;
  • Java 8;
  • Springboot;
  • Hibernate;
  • MYSQL;
  • DB2;
  • MQ;
  • Software development life cycle (SDLC);
  • VXML;
  • Composer; Genesys Engage; and
  • Nuance Security Suite.

-Requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills:

  • Angular JS;
  • Angular 6;
  • KAFKA;
  • CPS;
  • Genesys Cloud; and
  • Nuance Dialogue Module.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $200,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
