Job description

Responsibilities
Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, Adults, and the CD populations. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is seeking a dynamic and talented Master's level Social Worker for the inpatient population.
The Social Worker performs social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or a clinically related mental health field.
Experience: Program Social Worker is preferred to have two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. This time in the field can include practicum and internship studies or work at a mental health institution while an undergraduate.
License: Program Social Worker should be licensed as a LCSW, LMHC, LMFT,LCAC in the state of Indiana. However, this is not a requirement, but preference . Experience in the field with appropriate education will be acceptable.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and CPI training prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. The Social Worker must be willing to work flexible hours as necessary.
