We are currently accepting applications for a Social Services Designee within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.

Desired Qualifications

  1. Licensed Social Worker in Alabama not required, but preferred
  2. Education in Social Sciences
  3. Strong documentation, follow-up, and communication skills
  4. Long-Term Care experience (preferred)

Essential Job Functions

  1. Act as a liaison and representative of the resident’s social interests and to assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the Social Services department. In accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility, and as may be directed as the administrator, to ensure that the medically related emotional and social services needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis.
