Job Summary
The X Center Sim Racing Operator is responsible for delivering an immersive, world-class motorsports simulation experience through the operation, maintenance and guest support of the M1 Concourse X Center's high-fidelity racing simulators. This position assists guests with simulator setup, software configuration, vehicle and track selection, racing instruction and overall experience management while ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest operational and presentation standards. The Sim Racing Operator serves as both technical specialist and guest coach, helping users of all skill levels confidently engage with advanced racing technology. The position will also cross-train to support Golf and Shooting Simulator experiences during lower-volume periods. The X Center Sim Racing Operator shall represent M1 Concourse with the highest level of professionalism and decorum.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assists guests with entering and exiting simulator cockpits safely.ย 
  • Assists novice users in understanding simulator controls and racing fundamentals.ย 
  • Assists with tournament events, racing leagues, private functions and corporate experiences.ย 
  • Calibrates steering wheels, pedals, displays, audio systems and related simulator hardware.
  • Cleans, sanitizes, resets โ€“ simulator cockpits, controls, displays, seating surfaces, headsets, and accessories after each session.
  • Collaborates with Team Members to ensure seamless operation across all M1 Concourse X Center attractions.
  • Configures racing software, vehicle selections, track configurations and user profiles.ย 
  • Cross-trains and assists with Golf Simulator and Shooting Simulator operations during lower-volume periods.ย 
  • Ensures adherence to company policies, operational procedures and safety requirements.ย 
  • Maintains a guest-first mindset and promotes exceptional hospitality experiences.ย 
  • Maintains awareness of current simulator software updates, tracks, vehicles and technology enhancements.ย 
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization throughout simulator and guest areas.ย 
  • Maintains operational readiness and presentation standards for all simulator stations.
  • Monitors simulator sessions and provides real-time guidance and support.ย 
  • Operates and oversees daily sim racing activities and guest participation.ย 
  • Performs routine inspections of simulator equipment and reports maintenance concerns promptly.ย 
  • Provides coaching on basic driving techniques, racing lines, braking zones, vehicle control and track navigation.ย 
  • Supports guest scheduling and simulator reservations.
  • Troubleshoots software issues, hardware connectivity concerns, calibration problems and peripheral device malfunctions.ย 
  • Welcomes guests and provides orientation regarding simulator operation, safety procedures and experience expectations.
  • Performs all other duties as may be required and assigned.
