Job description

We're seeking a seasoned Director of PMO to lead and mature our enterprise program management capabilities. In this role, you will partner with senior leaders across business, operations, and technology to deliver strategic initiatives, scale execution frameworks, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on, strategic leader who excels at bringing clarity to ambiguity and aligning crossfunctional teams toward shared outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and elevate the enterprise PMO function, establishing consistent, highquality program and portfolio management practices
  • Partner with leaders across Operations, Finance, Engineering, and IT to translate business needs into actionable, prioritized roadmaps
  • Drive cross-functional planning, prioritization, resource alignment, and execution across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Build and manage project and portfolio governance - milestones, dependencies, budgets, risks, and change control
  • Bring structure to ambiguity by organizing backlogs, aligning priorities, identifying trade-offs, and resolving cross-team conflicts
  • Use data and insights to track performance, forecast delivery, and guide executive decision-making
  • Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and effectively translated into technical solutions
  • Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT to ensure alignment, communication, and successful delivery
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across programs and teams

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in PMO/program management with experience delivering enterprise-level, cross-functional initiatives
  • Proven success leading or building PMO organizations in a high-growth or transformation environment
  • Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the ability to apply the right delivery pattern to the right type of work
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, and project/portfolio reporting platforms
  • Excellent communication and executive presence; able to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problemsolving skills, with a track record of driving measurable results
